A Bridal Luncheon: It's all in the Details July 11 2014

It All Starts with the Invitation

I can't get over the gorgeousness! Blush and gold, oh my!

Let me start by saying this project had been in the works since February. My friend, and wedding planner extraordinaire, Cassie Thibeaux of Southern Fete came to me needing something very unique for a special event she was planning. It was a bridal luncheon and she wanted to be sure that not a detail was missed (although, I've never known Cassie to miss ANY detail with any of her events).

So, in the true order of how-things-should-be a beautiful event started with a beautiful invitation!

You can check out Cassie's blog post about the luncheon here.

Let me mention next that the talented and sweeter-than-honey Catherine Guidry was on-hand to photograph the details of the luncheon. And as always, she did an amazing job at capturing the beauty of it all.

With the invitation, we included an RSVP card. This was not a plain Jane response card though. Not only did the options include "Pour me a glass of bubbly" or "Will raise a glass from afar," but on the back, Cassie wanted the girls and hostesses to write a special memory they had with Anne, the guest of honor and Bride.

Sweet Times: RSVP with a memory
The "Sweet Times" cards were affixed in a scrapbook for Anne to take home. Genius, right?

The menu was printed in the same style on the same beautiful blush luxe stock and paired with small round place cards affixed to the gorgeous antique Fostoria crystal goblets.

Finally, Anne wanted her girls to have cake pulls which she picked up at Piperfields in Baton Rouge. So as I mentioned, Cassie missed not one detail, and this one was my favorite. Each charm has a special meaning and a bible verse. I designed cards to correspond with each charm and hand lettered the charm name on the front of the envelopes.

You can see all the hand lettered envelopes on my Instagram post here.

The table setting was fit for queen.

And y'all, the flowers were beautiful!

It was so wonderful to see all the elements for this gorgeous luncheon come together. I so enjoyed seeing the invitation theme come to life in the details of the event.

And if this wasn't enough, Cassie and I may have another event up our sleeve. So stay tuned!
