Southern Charm Wedding | A Photo Shoot November 14 2013
It's been a lot of waiting and waiting and well, waiting… but it's finally here! This past summer some of my fave wedding vendors and myself got together to create the loveliest of styled photo shoots. We braved the heat of South Louisiana (and the swamp skeeters) and pooled our talents to style a wedding with unmistakable South Louisiana charm.
The spunky Catherine Guidry of Catherine Guidry Photography documented the event with her amazing photog skills. Alyssa Smith of Alyssa Arlene Events and the sweetest gal around, came in to lead the styling charge. The talented Mia Sandberg of Root Floral Design provided us with the most stunning floral arrangements. Ya'll these flowers… the colors will hurt your heart, they're so beautiful. Mia's handsome hubs came in to style the yummy food, he's the chef-extrodinaire over at Jefferson Street Pub downtown and he knows his way around some grub! And of course, the sassy and always stylish Sarah Buteaux was there to make sure our models were looking sharp! As you may have guessed, I was asked to create the paper goods. I'm pretty much obsessed with the purple envelope liners… can I get an AMEN?
The venue was none other than the enchanting Maison Madeleline in Breaux Bridge. Tucked away off a gravel road right off Lake Martin. You must get out to see this quaint and delightful B&B, if you're ever in the area!
Back in September we got the word that RuffledBlog picked up our shoot to publish and we couldn't have been more excited!
So without further ado, hop over to the amazingness that is RuffledBlog and check out our shoot!
