To add to the list of my nearest and dearest who have tied the knot: my cousin, Rebekah! I was so honored to serve her as Matron of Honor... and of course, offer my design services (and occasionally wedding etiquette advising).
The first thing on the list was the Bridal Shower invitation.
I thought it reflected Rebekah and her style. Erica had the cake made to look like the invitation which I thought was a nice touch!
Just for fun one day, I designed a wedding monogram for Rebekah and Ben featuring their initials... R, B and N. Rebekah and her mom loved that little monogram and used it everywhere! I was so excited to get so much use out of that little thing!
We incorporated the monogram on round stickers for favors and sealing envelopes, a refrigerator magnet and on the wedding program. I also designed the koozie for the reception featuring, you guessed it, the monogram!
Next was the bridesmaids brunch, held the day of the wedding. My mom and I actually hosted this event. I designed the invitation and created a lovely place card holder as a keepsake for those who attended!
Finally, I designed the wedding program to coordinate as much as possible with the invitation. We were able to include the order of ceremony, list all those who participated, thank everyone for coming and honor the loved ones who couldn't be with us that day. Phew, that's a lot to put on a piece of paper!
It all in the details! I absolutely loved being a part of Rebekah's wedding! I was excited to be there as her Matron of Honor as well as help with all the design and printing of invitations, programs, etc. I truly believe it's all these small touches that you can so easily add to a wedding, or any event for that matter, that make all the difference in the world!
